SCV Water is the result of a collaborative response to the exhaustive Economic, Efficiencies and Enhanced Water Management study conducted to identify the potential benefits of a new water district in the Santa Clarita Valley. It was determined that by creating a new, unified water agency, SCV Water would streamline resources, increase efficiencies and have the opportunity to better serve customers in the areas surrounding the Santa Clara River and Castaic Lake. Note: The Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency (SCV Water) was created January 1, 2018 through the merger of the three water agencies in the Santa Clarita Valley. The merger included Castaic Lake Water Agency and its Santa Clarita Water Division, Newhall County Water District and the Valencia Water Company. SCV Water was G480-verified under Valencia Water Company, prior to the merger. While they are not yet certified under their new organizational structure, we look forward to a future submittal from SCV Water.
