Water Conservation Rebate Tax Parity Act

The Tax Parity Act was recently introduced in both the U.S. House and the Senate with bipartisan sponsors.  This bill would eliminate federal taxation of water efficiency rebates, which is a disincentive to participation and an administrative burden for agencies that issue rebates. AWE is circulating a sign-on letter to congressional leadership in support of this legislation. With bipartisan support, we are hopeful this could be the year to pass the Tax Parity Act.
