Dipper Wells
Section:
Dipper wells are perpetual-flow sinks that are used to clean small utensils, and are most commonly found in coffee shops, ice cream stores, juice bars, full-service restaurants, and fast food chains. Ice cream scoopers, mixing spoons, and other food service preparation utensils are placed in dipper wells in order to prevent bacteria growth and to clean the utensil. While dipper wells typically have low consumption rates, they are prime targets to be replaced with more water efficient products due to their perpetual-flow.
