Landscape conversions are an excellent tool to reduce water use outdoors, but simply removing turf or planting new adaptive plants in a landscape is not enough to maximize the benefits of a landscape conversion. Most landscapes require some degree of supplemental water during establishment or periods of drought to remain healthy and vibrant. It is important to use the right irrigation tools after conversion to maintain the investment in a new landscape that also saves water.
